Lefse Day Children’s Book
A sweet and simple book for any family that cherishes or wants to learn more about the tradition of making lefse, a Norwegian flatbread.
As a Norwegian American raised with Scandinavian traditions there are few things I love more than lefse. As a family we make it around the holidays and it’s something we look forward to all year. With our shared love for our Norwegian heritage, my sister Kari Throop and I set out to create a Children’s book honoring the tradition of making lefse.
The story along with simple colorful illustrations takes you through the steps of making lefse together as a family and includes our own family recipe at the end of the book. We are excited to share it with you and hope it inspires you to carry on the tradition of making lefse with your family.
This is a soft-cover, 28-page, matte-finish book with color illustrations measuring an 1/8″ thick. and shipped in a protective plastic sleeve.
